I was desperate for new bedroom furniture at an affordable price for my daughters apartment. I did not want to spend a lot but wanted new. I found American Freight Furniture on Rodi Road. I read several bad reviews but gave it a try. They had exactly what I wanted at an extremely reasonable price. So of course we knew it wasn't of great quality. You get what you pay for. We only bought what was in stock and we took it with us. My daughter loves it. We are happy. My thoughts on the negative reviews are that 1. People are somehow surprised that the furniture is not top quality. Well then don't buy it. 2. I would never pay for something that is not in stock. Why ask for trouble. 3. They tell you up front what needs assembled. I'm prepared, have my own tools at the ready and don't expect the company to supply me with tools. Some people are too used to government coddling I suppose. Ryan was courteous and helpful. My experience was pleasant. I would recommend.

Worst experience ever! Salesman advised same day delivery. Driver called around 4pm and said they were too busy and we could have our furniture in the morning. Said no, we paid to have it today! They didn't call or anything after that. They showed up at 9 pm. They couldn't get the couch in my house, therefore left it on our porch for us to deal with. They didn't even put our front door back on. Then the driver apparently left his drill. He tried calling at almost midnight, didn't leave a message. Then four days later I get a call from the police department saying the driver is accusing us of stealing this drill. I do NOT recommend buying from this company.

I went to American Freight today to put a a Nordic Rest Mattress on lay-a-way. There was a advertisement in a flier mailed to my home for $149 each piece. The associate showed me the Nordic Rest and said it was $300 for each piece. I showed him the flier and he said he had that one in back. He goes in back and brings out an old very thin, non-mattress foam mattress that was not a Nordic Rest. I told him that is not the same mattress, it says Greenland right there on the plastic and it's not memory foam. He kept insisting it was, so I said ok I will just take the mattress without the box spring for the set that was $300 a piece. He says it's going to be $100 cheaper without the box spring. I asked if it is $300 a piece, why are you still charging me $500 for just the mattress? He said the beds are sold in sets only. If they are sold in sets only, why was he still trying to sell me just the mattress? Long story short, false advertisement and a waste of time!

THEY HAVE A LOT IF STUFF FOR GOOD PRICES. FIRST TIME THERE WAS GREAT.

I have been to American Freight 3 times. The first was 4 years ago for our first living room. We found a great set. It was $600 for the couch and a swivel rocking recliner and for $30 more we got two end tables, a coffee table and two lamps. They weren't the best quality tables but they wore worth the extra $30. The chair alone retailed for over $700 in other stores. The second time we bought our king size bed and frame about a year ago. The bed was very well priced and in both of these cases the service was great and the shipping reasonable and quick. The experience this week was horrible. We called to get prices on twin beds for our daughter and drove out the next day to pick it out. Waited 15min. for the sales clerk to finish a obviously personal phone conversation only for him to tell us the cheapest set was $100 more than the quote. I had to insist he look for the one HE told us they had the day before. There was a stack of them next to us. I guess they work on commission.
