Had Allemang Concrete quote work to alleviate water issues around the exterior of our home. Dan was able to provide valuable recommendations to solve the problem. Allemang installed an exterior french drain in the rear of our home as well as replaced a front storm drain and repaired the driveway where the work was performed. We haven't had any water issues since. Crew was very professional and work was done in timely manner. Would highly recommend!

In our search for a concrete contractor that could work with us on maintaining our property aesthetic appeal, we reviewed numerous bids. Dan Allemang took additional time to review in detail what would be necessary from his position to acquire our desired results. He and his employees worked in tandem with each other displaying to all of those monitoring the daily progress just how knowledgeable they are in their craft. The atmosphere on the job site was always positive and respectful of the neighbors in close proximity to our location. As the saying goes "you only get what you paid for..." Well every cent spent on this property update was well worth it. We had very large main entrance steps replaced and color added to compliment the stone structure. Also sidewalks for the main entrance and walkway around our home were replaced and widen. To complete the project our 4 car driveway was redone and extended to accommodate 6 vehicles. We highly recommend this company and welcome calls.

Would never recommend this company. Could not even get them to come and give me an estimate, but I was told they would call within a week to schedule estimate, never called me and when I followed up I was told now that they will not be able to come for another 2 months, I assume if I would not have called to follow up, I would not have heard from them again. Would not recommend. Not reliable.

I recently had the need for a replacement 14x24 concrete patio at my parents home in Baldwin Borough in Pittsburgh. Being an individual with considerable purchasing experience, I made a number of phone inquiries, finally deciding upon four companies from which to solicit a proposal. I am extremely happy with the two retaining walls that Allemang Concrete rebuilt on the front of my property. Four workers came on time and completed the job in one day. I selected Dan Allemang to replace the front steps and walkway of my home. His visit to provide me with an estimate was informative and detailed. The project began promptly after our agreement. Dan kept me informed of the daily schedule and progress and completed the work quickly, efficiently and professionally. The quality exceeded expectations. Finally a driveway and patio that I can be proud of! After years of broken, cracked and uneven concrete, I finally decided that I had had enough. This was the year for change. I live in the Baldwin-Whitehall area and always wanted a local cement contractor to help design and pour the new concrete. Dan Allemang was here the next day and helped me decide what would work best. A beautiful 18' x 34' patio with a radiused curve, plus a wonderful 9' x 60' driveway. Dan and his crew were here within days and the finished product would soon emerge. My wife and I were away during the final completion of the pour. We returned home 11:00 at night on a cool October evening. We pulled up to our home and could not believe how beautiful this project turned out. My first words to Mary Ann were, "We finally have a real home." Dan and Barb were terrific throughout this process. We were having a major problem getting our original contractor to show up. It has taken over two years to get a 6' addition added to our house/carport. Very pleased with driveway & wall Allemangs installed. Price was comparable with other bids we got. Dan, owner, explained everything & was on the job the entire time. We liked that the driveway is now sloped the right way so there are no water problems or puddles. Versa-lok wall looks great. Crew cleaned up everything after job was completed. He got out to our house quickly for an estimate, and returned several follow-up phone calls to clarify details within 24 hours of each call (usually the same night). His bid was very competitive. The crew arrived promptly each morning at the promised time. We changed the scope of the job on the first day, and Dan handled it easily.
