I just finished working with allegheny refrigeration on building a walk-in freezer at our school. It was a great experience, everything looks good! They came out to our site, quoted us on a price, and designed everything for us. Thanks guys!
My VFW purchased a Hoshizaki Ice Maker from Allegheny Refrigeration Sales Co. Inc., model no. AM150BAF and the compressor went bad, necessitating its replacement. The ice machine worked for 10 hours after that, from 1PM to 11 PM and then something burned up. This company attempted to blame the problem on "insufficient electrical supply" which is so absurd it defies all logic. (The ice machine was connected to a normal 120 volt convenience outlet). Further troubleshooting showed that the lines are clogged, analogous to clogged arteries in a human. This company refused to replace the defective ice machine which was purchased some 9 months ago for around $1,800. I would not recommend doing business with them. Also please note that they have no Better Business Bureau accreditation.
