The Sales Rep gave excellent detail of product offerings and warranties, evidence of quality workmanship and training of installers and project and installation managers. Pre-installation inspections were thorough, performed first by a knowledgeable sales rep, then by a highly experienced installation manager. Planning, scoping and costing were supported by advanced tools that assured the accurate sizing of the job and accurate ordering and delivery of the chosen products. The work was completed the work without comprise, shortages, or excess. Discounts were scaled to the size of the job. All products and service were delivered and completed on-time (installers and field managers actually arrived early each day). Setup and cleanup was immaculate—no plants, lawn, or other property damaged; all debris thoroughly removed.   " They were not the cheapest, but they were competitive and I believe I got better value for my money. Dave Robey was my salesman and he was a very nice guy, always responded quickly to my emails and texts at pretty much anytime of day. Being an engineer, I naturally had a few detailed questions that he could not answer, so he had the boss man come by and I was very pleased with the detailed explanations. I was nervous about the whole thing, cutting this big hole in a perfectly good concrete wall and all, but they had detailed answers to my various questions and it put me mostly at ease. The work started about a week after I got approval from my homeowners association. They arrived on-time and worked to pretty late in the day. They obviously cared about what they were doing and strove to do it well. As they went about it, I got more and more comfortable with it and believing that nothing was going to get "messed up". The people working the job were all very nice guys and worked hard. I had a finished basement, so this was being cut into a wall with wallboard and such. They did the whole installation and left it with zero mess inside and outside the house. The concrete cuts were smooth and very well done. He was very careful using the mini backhoe for the excavation and pulling that wall segment out. The 4'x5' window is fantastic looking, lets in a ton of light, and definitely made the room tremendously more cheerful. It is now 4 months later and we have had zero issues. We also had a very heavy rain due to remnants of a hurricane getting to us and we had zero water issues. They had tied down into the foundation drain and it all worked great. So, I would definitely recommend these people to anyone. They know what they are doing, they use their own full time employees, they have the insurance and workman's comp, etc. And they do great work and they communicate with you as much as you want/need them to. "

  " We bought our house brand new 20 years ago. It reached that point in time when the original roof was starting to wear out. Our neighbor had to have her roof inspected and her contractor expressed to her that our roof had sustained some damage from high winds. We arranged to receive an estimate from HCR. Their rep, Casey Becraft, inspected our roof and noted that light was shining through the eave into the attic. He was able to schedule our replacement before the end of November. This was a relief to us, because we were concerned about the arrival of winter weather. HCR roof replacements are superior to builder grade roof installations. They install leak barriers, aluminum drip edges (that don't rust), ridge ventilation, and cap shingles on the eaves. The 5 tab shingles they install are much better than the originally installed asphalt shingles. They also replace all rubber pipe collars. All materials were loaded onto the roof the day before work started. The whole process took approximately 8 to 9 hours. And they hauled all of the waste materials away afterward. We are very pleased with work and relieved that this issue has been resolved. "

He mixed up the anti-mold compound with assistance from Kelvin J. and sprayed all wood surfaces in the crawlspace. I checked the work the next day and his work was thorough. Both men were very pleasant and helpful. They took most of the bags I had filled with removed insulation with them when they were finished. Montola and Kelvin did a great job, represented JES as professionals and were really nice guys as well. "

  " It is with deep satisfaction that I recommend Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction. Mr. George Grady is a skilled craftsman. He was hired to correct long neglected and extensive masonry and window issues on a large, beautiful Presbyterian Church built in the Civil War era in Philadelphia. The property was neglected with only minimal maintenance performed over the last 40+ years. The building was in severe decline and in need of stabilization and restoration on many fronts. Cracked ledge plates were chipped out and reestablished, internal walls damaged by leakage were broken out and repaired, brickwork was repointed and in severe cases reestablished to original strength and beauty. Leaks around the base of the building were addressed to stabilize deterioration of the foundation. Large rotted window sills under beautiful stained glass windows were restored after significant masonry reestablishment due to water damage under the rotted out sills. Broken and missing stained glass windows are in the process of repair and replacement. The process started with new metal frames cast by Mr. Grady. The new frames will hold clear painted replications of the original stained glass, also crafted by Mr. Grady. Regular windows all around the church and manse were also repaired and restored. Roof leaks were accurately identified and repaired. A sagging plaster ceiling has been torn out and restored. All this work was done by Mr. Grady alone or with an occasional helper. He worked with care, expertise and respect for the original structure. The results far exceeded our expectations and have injected new life into a building on the brink. This building, owned by the Presbytery of Philadelphia, now houses a new urban ministry in a newly gentrifying area of the city. We are happy to have had the good fortune to be connected to Gradys Painting and Plastering & Construction by Service Magic. "

  " I hired Paint the DMV to paint my exterior siding (Hardee board) and trim that also included doing some minor repair work and replacing the caulking. In addition, they mudded and sanded and painted my two car garage. The quality of the work was outstanding. The painters from Paint the DMV were very detailed oriented and cleaned up every day. In addition to the quality work, the customer communication and service was excellent. Marvin contacted me in advance of the project to lay out the schedule and arrival times. When they said the would be there at 0830AM - they arrived at 08:15AM. Marvin kept up on the weather and if rain was coming he coordinated schedule changes directly with me and did a close out call every day. I would definitely recommend Paint the DMV and I plan to use them on future projects. "
