Davidson River Outfitters is Western North Carolina’s premier fishing guide service and fly shop. Our experienced fishing guides lead wade and boat trips in Western NC and East Tennessee. The DRO fly shop, located at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, stocks fly fishing gear, fly tying materials, clothing and more. The Davidson River is an easy drive from Lake Toxaway, Cashiers, Hendersonville, Asheville, Greenville SC, Charlotte, and Atlanta. We offer guided wade trips and boat trips for trout, smallmouth bass and musky. DRO has private water access on the Davidson River near the French Broad and leads guided destination fishing trips to Argentina, the Bahamas and Montana. We also offer fly fishing instruction for all levels.
