Went to one of the major chain auto repair shops wont name any names (it starts with a "T" and ends with Plus) when I was having an issue with my transmission not shifting after 4th gear in my new JK. I was told when I dropped it off that I would be contacted the next day because only the transmission guy understood the codes. The next day TP called and said I needed a new transmission between 2500 and 3100 dollars. I decided to call another location for a second opinion. I called Low Cost transmission because it was near my parents house, Steve the mechanic immediately told me don't let them drop the trans. bring it in so we can actually look at it. I brought it down to Steve and he and his workers went over the entire vehicle. In the end I had all the work I "needed" done, and found out there was NOTHING wrong with the trans. at all!! It was a wire that the stereo people attached to the harness throwing off the ECU! I would definitely recommend Steve and Low Cost for all trans. work.
