I have been going to Jen's for years. I have extremely thick and curly crazy hair! Jen cuts my hair so that I can wear it curly or straighten it with a flat iron. I always get compliments on my hair and I always refer them to her!!! Also...the price is great!!! I love this place!!!

I have been going here for over 6 years to get my hair permed. I have A LOT of hair, very thick and long. They have always done a great job. Jen has been the one to do it all but one of the times. I have had my hair permed at expensive salons for almost $200 and have the curls fall out, but here I pay only $100 and that is with a $20 tip. My curls do not fall out quickly. I have also had my hair cut here and every time I have loved the job they do.

I would never recommend this place! If you dont have pin straight hair they talk badly about you and pass you around to anyone that is working there. The whole time they are doing you hair they complain about how much hair you have and they don't know what to do with it. Not very reassuring for the person getting their hair done. Not very professional I would not recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy!

I have been going there for about 2 years now and as long as you get Jen to cut your hair, you get a great cut. My hair is about 6 inches past by shoulders and she only charges me $7..WOW! Keep in mind they do not wash or style your hair unless you ask (cost extra) but if your just looking for a quick cut...you can't beat it. There is a heavy set girl who works there who cuts hair too..but she's not very good. She has cut my hair 3 times and twice when I went another hair salon to get my hair cut (was in another area) I was told my both salons that my hair was crooked and they could figure out what she was doing. So if you get Jen...you will get a great haircut!!!

They have great, professional service but at a cheaper price than all the rest of the salons. You pay upscale dollars for anywhere you go. But this place fits your budget. Where else can you get a haircut for $7 or wax for $5? That would total the amount of just a haircut anywhere else. The staff have been there for quite awhile so you don't have to count on a Fantastic Sam's-like way of always going through employees (and not to mention FS always butcher your hair). Employees are very courteous and talk to you like you're a real human being and don't pressure you in anything. They make sure you get what you wanted in the first place. If you want to save money and have great results, choose Jen's Salon. If you want to risk your hair to someone that just got out of school, doesn't really care and probably will leave the mark of FS (I swear, FS always leaves this one spot uncut on the back of my head whereas I have to manually do it myself), then choose FS or similiar and pay more.
