The Pinehurst Fire Department is staffed with more than 320 full-time firefighters who provide fire and life safety educational programs for citizens and businesses. It offers fire inspection services for commercial properties. The department provides home smoke detector and safety inspection, traditional fire suppression and rescue services. In addition, the Pinehurst Fire Department offers child passenger safety seat inspection services. It also installs residential fire sprinklers. The department provides station tour services for residents and organizes shows to protect properties.
