Dont miss eating at this diner! Food is good quality and was served hot. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. My husband and I will eat here again the next time we are passing through.

I have been bringing my club there for breakfast and dinner for over 3 year now and we have always been received as part of the family. The buffet is generally good, but they also have a menu to order at your taste. The service by the ladies serving us has always been courteous and at times the go out of their way. If you are in a hurry, this might not be your place to visit, good food and service can't be rushed. The Goose, as it has become known to us the Maryland Rock Raiders, has a relaxed and country setting, much like a home town get together place, that my group has come to enjoy.

When arriving at the register to pay our bill, we were told we had to wait due to "changing of the guard". When asked how long, we were told approx. 5 min. Since we had an appointment, 5 min was not acceptable and the 2 people behind the counter were informed of that. They just kept talking and laughing and ignoring us. We were going to use a credit card, but when it became apparent that they were not going to accept the card or give us change for the $20.00 bill, we told them to keep the change and it would be a reminder to us never to frequent the restaurant again. I think this is poor business practice and in my 60 years have never experienced this situation.
