Located in Pine Brook, N.J., Hilldale Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, reading, writing, social studies and science. The school offers gifted and talented enrichment education, peer tutoring, REACH, anti-bullying and Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) programs. Its support services include basic skills instruction and occupational and physical therapies. The school involves students in community visitations, concerts, art exhibitions, family math nights, writing workshops, science fairs and Battle of the Books. Its parent-teacher council sponsors cultural art programs and book fairs. The school s student council sponsors several social service projects, including food and clothing drives, drug awareness exhibitions and walkathons. Its parent volunteers run a publishing center, Hilldale Book Express, which turns student stories into bound computer-printed books. Hilldale Elementary School is administered by the Montville Township School District.
