General Info

Dr. Lila Tarmin graduated from Barnard College and Georgetown Medical School. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Maryland.Dr. Tarmin's research in gastro-intestinal oncology and inflammatory bowel disease has appeared in a number of professional journals. She has a personal interest in colon cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome and treatment of obesity. A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Tarmin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
