It is encouraged that everyone get a routine teeth cleaning done every six months to maintain proper hygiene. During these routine visits the hygienist will remove plaque and tartar build up. The purpose of this type of visit is to clean the surfaces of the teeth to leave them smooth and prevent bacteria from collecting.
