Located in Pico Rivera, Calif., Rio Vista Elementary is a coeducational facility that serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school employs cafeteria workers, instructional aides and subject teachers. In addition, it employs a psychologist, physical education teacher, media specialist and health clerk. The school s parent-teacher organization arranges a variety of activities, including special assemblies, field trips, classroom volunteers and carnivals. Rio Vista Elementary also maintains a library. The elementary school is a part of the El Rancho Unified School District, which also includes South Ranchito Elementary School, Valencia Elementary School, El Rancho High School and North Park Middle School.
