Phoenixville Area Middle School provides educational services to students in grades six through eight. Located in Phoenixville, Pa., it employs a staff of more than 85 teachers and paraprofessionals. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and English. It offers basic learning classes in music, physical education, family science, technology and computer. Phoenixville Area Middle School also provides foreign language sessions in German, Spanish, French and Latin. In addition, it organizes band concerts, jazz competitions, basketball matches, picture days, dance performances, park trips, book fairs and art festivals. The school also offers several sporting activities, including lacrosse, softball, baseball, tennis, and track and field. It is a part of the Phoenixville Area School District, which owns and operates elementary, middle and high schools.
