March 2013: Called restaurant in advance about hours b/c of movie w/ 6 friends - we all wanted to go out afterward. Juan Carlos stayed open just for us! 1st, the margaritas were so delicious and fresh - we really would have loved to drink them all night (BYOB, & $10/pitcher - well worth it). Thanks, Laura, for the mouth-watering libation. Fresh & warm tortilla chips served w/ chunky & delicious homemade salsa, that would have satisfied us. Until we came to know a selection of heavenly appetizers. Mexican eggrolls were the favorite, bar none. Served w/ a wonderful clear dipping sauce, spicy & a little sweet, the combination of flavors was genuinely unforgettable. We also loved the chimichanga & amazing spicy falafel - so delectible & unexpected served with a Greek yogurt/cucumber sauce & warm pita bread triangles. Guacamole was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The owner cooked for us himself, came out to THANK US for our patronage. Next time entrees & dessert. We spent $20/person all in.
