The company s lasers and proprietary delivery systems are designed to reduce the bleeding and trauma of conventional surgery, reduce or eliminate hospital stays and shorten recuperation time. Cardiodyne, a 90 percent subsidiary of Trimedyne, is developing a heart revascularization laser system for cardiovascular surgeons and cardiologists to treat coronary artery disease, the largest single killer among medical conditions and diseases.
