My Mother was a resident at Sunshine Village until her death in September--around 3 months. She was treated as a special guest each and every day she was there. Since I don't live in the Valley, I was made aware of anything out of the ordinary concerning my Mother. The staff was amazing! All of the aids and nurses truly cared about my Mother's well being. the day she passed away, even though the hospice staff was there, the Sunshine Village staff checked on my Mother often and one lovely young staff member kissed her on the forehead before leaving the room every time she checked on her. After my Mother passed away I noticed two of the nurses' aids with tears in their eyes. One of the nurses, that I really liked and trusted, was there with us practically the whole afternoon that last day. I would definitely recommend Sunshine Village to any family seeking care for their family member.

They are knowliedgable in how to care for people with dementia, and it is the most caring bunch around. She loves all of the outside area she can use anytime she wants.
