Robert has delivered speeches and training programs for employees of multi-national companies, business associations, and academic institutions, as well as groups of entrepreneurs, politicians, bureaucrats, ambassadors, and leaders in governance. Some of his notable clients include Henkel Corporation, SkyMall, Cigna, Starwood Hotels, Destination Hotels & Resorts, Lufthansa, U.S. Federal Government, Verizon, and Proctor & Gamble. Robert is considered one of the most charismatic and engaging speakers in the professional development marketplace. During his keynote speeches, Robert plays original compositions or provides each audience member with an instrument, which is part of what makes his keynotes exceptionally engaging. He delivers a memorable experience for every audience. Born in Honolulu, Robert grew up in Kansas City. He moved to San Francisco, and then later to Toronto to reengineer divisions of Commerce Clearing House (CCH), a global publisher of business and tax law information. After 15 years of leadership experience in the global legal publishing arena, Robert’s corporate background rests on a strong foundation. He implemented business models that helped keep CCH lucrative during the transition from print to CD-ROM & online technologies. His models for adapting to change have been adopted throughout many industries, and he is known for helping teams and individuals become more focused and productive, as well as transforming company cultures. Robert shares his experiences, research, and dynamic case studies during his training sessions as a method for knowledge transfer. He is also a certified facilitator for Developing High Performance Organizations (DHPO). Robert continues to coach CEOs, celebrities, and professional athletes, to help them achieve peak performance and focus. Recently, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Phoenix, Arizona, he and Stedman Graham delivered a series of leadership programs to hundreds of C-level executives. Robert is also a frequent speaker for the Society of Human Resources (SHRM) State conferences throughout the country.
