Rito's Mexican Food is celebrating 45 years of business this year and we could not be more excited about the future as a company. What began as a neighborhood convenience store within the Garfield Historic Neighborhood quickly found itself selling more burritos and tacos from its limited "to go" only kitchen, than grocery goods. To that end, the family decided to pivot the Rito's concept into a take out only Mexican Food establishment that has served the "Valley Of The Sun" time honored family recipes spanning generations. Rosemary and Rito have since passed the company on to their daughter Charlotte who embodies the same work ethic her parents instilled within in her over the course of their careers. Like a true family owned business Charlotte works along side her sister, nieces, nephews, sons and long time staff some of whom have been with the company over 30 years. Food is excellent. price is a little high for such a dive. Outside dining only. Canned drinks only. Limited menu. Tacos only on occasion. Best green chile burro I ever had.
Very good bean,green or red burritos enchilada style,also have good guacamole tacos!
I am a native Phoenician and grew up eating Ritos and absolutely love it! It's my favorite mexican take out place of all time, although they now have awful customer service. Long wait in line, but worth it. I have never had another green burro like these. They are the real deal!!!!! We definitely make the time to go there when we're in town. Love it!!!!! My favorite is green chili burro enchilada style w/ no lettuce. Best in the southwest!!!!!
