General Info
Randall Porter, MD, completed his CyberKnife training at the University of Pittsburgh. He trained in Gamma Knife at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. Dr. Porter received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed a general surgery internship at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. His neurosurgery residency was completed at Barrow Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. In addition, Dr. Porter was a clinical and research fellow in cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgery, Gamma Knife radiosurgery and complex spine surgery at Barrow. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Randall Porter gave me my life back. In April 2013 I was in an accident on the freeway and suffered a broken neck that left me in pain and slowly I began to lose the functions of my arms and hands. C5-C6 control the nerves going from the neck all the way to my fingers. I had electrical shocks that became so painful. On the morning of February 26, 2014 Dr. Porter and his team preformed the surgery and after 5 hrs I was wheeled into recovery.
