Many orthodontists will use a permanent retainer to avoid loss and movement, and when we suggested this following some movement, Dr. Santucci became defensive, angry, and threatening. Despite him saying that, whenever his mother or I called in during the course of his treatment to check on his progress, we were always given assurances that everything was perfect. Non-compliance, poor hygiene, or anything else was not mentioned. Dr. Santuccis anger was very unprofessional, and it was obvious he does not like to be questioned, and his emphasis is not about the patient or the ultimate result, but about power, ego, and the maximum amount of money he can collect. Since I am a physician and health care provider, I find such behavior toward any patient unacceptable, and it forces me to write this review so others carefully examine this orthodontist before engaging his services. Since his manner was not normal, prospective patients should be very cautious to avoid being harmed.

it is without reservation that I recommend Dr. Santucci and his friendly staff as your next Orthodontist! He has treated both my son and me with great care and professionalism throughout our treatments. Dr. Santucci & his staff are very friendly, compassionate, and work well at putting children at ease.
