Middle Eastern Bakery is not only a restaurant, it is a market. They sell the freshest hummus that I have tasted, in a multitude of flavors [ranging from original to garlic to red pepper]! The prices are fair on those items & I can even find rosewater, which I am always on the hunt for. The bakery and deli itself is delicious. They will sell single items as well as combination plates. Make sure to try the spanikopita, which is filo dough wrapped around spinach and cheeses. Also try the lamb combination plate, with fresh salad and sauce, pita bread, the most tender lamb, and the perfect saffron rice. Everything is hand made daily in the morning, including the Tahili sauce, a must try on nearly every dish. Finish off with Bakarah, a thick, sweet cake said to help with growth. Whether or not that is true, try it because it is amazing. This restaurant is perfect for a quick stop in during a weekday or lazy weekend afternoon. Fabulous!
