Our involvement in the gluten-free, wheat-free and allergen-free community is personal. Since the founder, LynnRae Ries, was diagnosed gluten-intolerant in 2000, we have immersed ourselves in our mission of making life tastier and easier for people on special diets. What started out as one book to help others understand the gluten-free life, What? No Wheat? A Lighthearted Approach to Living the Wheat-Free Gluten-Free Life has grown into a life of sharing and caring from both LynnRae Ries and Vern Lang. Our history includes: founded GIG Chandler Support Group contributed extensive volunteer time to a wide variety of gluten-free activities, functions and groups authored Delicious Gluten-Free Wheat-Free Breads for the Bread Machine and Oven published Waiter, Is there Wheat in My Soup? the official guide to dining, shopping and traveling gluten-free and free-of-common-food-allergens developed the Gluten-Free Cooking Club/School in Arizona that provides classes and seminars on cooking and baking wheat-free, gluten-free and free-of-common-food-allergens for over 4 years launched Gluten-Free Creations, your special diet bakery and bistro, after many years of personally baking for people in the community Gluten-Free Creations is born from the many supportive people in the gluten-free and allergen-free community. Their support and interest is the true energy that has driven us to provide the best products possible, in a Certified gluten-free environment. Artisans is a word that describes our techniques and our people . It means 'skilled worker'. We are that, and more. We use the old fashioned ways of small, hand made batch baking, long bread rises and quality ingredients. We strive for uniqueness and character in everything we offer.
