Charlie eventually made his way back to Phoenix in 1997, as general counsel position for EBI Insurance Co. When EBI was bought out, and the Phoenix office closed, Charlie started his own Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability law firm in 2002, until joining Cruz & Associates in 2019.

  After being admitted to the Georgia Bar, Ms. Thorpe worked in the field of Social Security Disability, representing claimants in Title II and Title XVI administrative hearings before the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. She also worked as an adjunct professor teaching courses that include “Ethics and Paralegal Professionalism” and “Legal Writing”.
