Checker is great at retail, if you're only picking up supplies. The minute you use them for service, you'll regret it. We had them replace our old sand filter about a year ago. We've had nothing but headaches with them since then. They didn't seal the pipes correctly and we constantly had leaks. They came out to fix the leaks, and had us replace the o-rings at the same time. The leaks improved, but didn't disappear. Water sprayed everywhere when you first turned on the filter. Then, a few months later, the filter exploded and sand ended up everywhere. The warranty company came to replace the filter. After that, the leaks were back to how they were previously. I had to fill up the baskets with water each time I wanted to run the filter. This was going on for a couple weeks, but then we had to go out of town for our wedding and honeymoon. We come back two weeks later, our pool is green because the filter wasn't running correctly for the entire two weeks we were gone. We called them and told them it's the same problem we've had since they originally replaced our filter. We never had these leaks before then. They said they would send someone out to take a look. We specifically told them to not perform any work until they let us know what was wrong and if we'd have to pay or if it was their fault. Well, we get a call a couple hours later that we owe them for replacing pipes and resealing everything. They acknowledged that our instructions were to not do anything until speaking with us, but they decided to go ahead and do what they want. Not only that, I went to run the filter when I got home, and what do you know, water sprayed everywhere when I turned it on. These people are a joke. After spending thousands of dollars with them in the last two years, I'm moving on to the big chain pool store that opened down the street. Good riddance.

Wow these guy at checker are the best, sure they can check your water but Mike, the motor guy is awsome, knowledgable, and very helpful; he saved us about $150.00 and lots of time running all over town!!! Thanks guys you made this summer much easier!
