  Experience: Margaret is Managing Partner of the firm. The focus of her practice is on civil litigation, with emphasis and interest with claims involving wrongful death, product liability, medical malpractice, employment and personal injury cases at the trial and appellate court levels. She was certified as a specialist in personal injury and wrongful death litigation by the State Bar of Arizona and has significant litigation and jury trial experience. Margaret has also served as a legal consultant to the Arizona Superior Court in Maricopa County on a variety of matters including preparation of legislative proposals, development of risk management and IT Plans, policy development and contract review.   Experience: Andy has been practicing law since 1979. He practiced law in Colorado for six years prior to relocating his practice to Arizona in 1985. He held various positions in the USAF, including Chief of Torts at Luke AFB, Arizona; Chief Prosecutor and Area Defense Counsel at Anderson AFB, Guam; Circuit Defense Counsel-Eastern Circuit at Hurlburt Field, Florida; Medical Law Consultant at David Grant USAF Medical Center; Special Assistant to U.S. Attorney Offices in defending complex criminal and medical malpractice cases. Since 2000, Sigurds continues in his service in the USAF Reserves working as a Medical Law Consultant at David Grant USAF Medical Center providing legal expertise in healthcare law and medical malpractice cases. He has now retired from the USAF Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel. As a partner in the firm, Sigurds has represented hospitals and insurers in a variety of medical malpractice matters. He represents healthcare providers before medical licensing boards. Sigurds also represents businesses in contract dispute matters. Sigurds has substantial trial experience from his service in the Air Force and in the representation of clients for the firm. He is a frequent lecturer on health law subjects.

  Experience: Mark is an associate attorney at the firm and possesses over 25 years of civil litigation experience throughout Arizona's state and federal courts. Prior to joining the firm, Mark practiced with other law firms in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. His past legal experience includes: medical malpractice defense, insurance defense litigation, construction defect litigation, premises liability, collection law, bankruptcy law and personal injury law. His current practice is devoted primarily to the defense of healthcare providers in medical negligence and wrongful death litigation. He also handles commercial litigation, collection matters and personal injury law for firm clients.

Jeffrey acted as a criminal prosecutor and defense attorney with extensive court room experience. This was followed by extensive experience in the Air Force medical law program defending the United States in medical malpractice cases throughout the country and serving as in-house counsel to one of the Air Force’s largest medical facilities. He returned to Phoenix in 1995 specializing in medical malpractice defense. Since 1995 he has tried numerous jury trials as a first chair attorney with excellent results in catastrophic injury cases.
