I am only giving this place of business a star because we got a great dress at a fair price. The service however, was awful. After we bought the dress and were married, we took the dress back to the dry-cleaner at the Plaza to be heirloomed. We asked for a written description of the dress and were told that the lady that does that wasn't in, but they would have her contact us asap. We called back four days later, and the message was never conveyed, and the co-owner Royna, who apparently does the descriptions, gave both my wife and I attitude regarding our simple request. She continued to play it off and even tried to put the blame on us, until we got I got to the point I had to call her out. When I did so, she told me she would email me the description, but still had the terrible attitude. If you want a dress, you can get one at a decent price, but NEVER expect good customer service, and I would suggest you take your dress elsewhere to be cleaned.
Are you aware that Azteca Wedding Plaza discriminates against men?!? I have been raised by my dad alone since I was 8 years old. He and I are very close and he has always helped me look for prom dresses and such because I didn't have a mother to do so. I took him with me to Azteca Wedding Plaza to help me pick out a wedding dress because I highly value his opinion, and after waiting for 10 minutes for a sales person to even wait on me, they told me that my father wasn't allowed to look at the dresses with me. They have dressing rooms upstairs, but he wasn't even allowed to look at the dresses downstairs. They told him he had to wait in the lobby. You can see all the dresses downstairs, the section is just roped off. I couldn't see any reason why he couldn't go back there, especially since there were two or three men working there who went upstairs themselves. When we asked to speak to the owner she was extreamly rude to us, and although she denied because prejudice against men, she still stated that the only way a man could buy a dress at the store was if he looked in the catalog and pointed out the dress he wanted to buy. I know I am not the only girl who is close to her father and values his opinion. I also know I'm not the only girl who has more guy friends than girl friends and would also like their opinion. I was not only completly shocked by their lack of respect for me or my father, but couldn't believe how rude they were to me the second I walked in the door. I would strongly recommend that shoppers stay clear of this place, especially girls who want to bring their fiance's, dad's, guy friends or sons along. Yes, even little boys aren't allowed over "the rope". There are many wonderful wedding dress shops, dont waste your time here.
