We have gone to Spinney's for years, were VERY disappointed in service and food last summer. Waitress was extremely rude, hostess had people waiting for a table stand right next to our table. It was very uncomfortable trying to eat with strangers staring at us and leaning on our table! When I quietly and privately asked the hostess if there was somewhere else that these folks could wait, she got pretty "snippy" about it. Our waitress messed up our order, which is understandable when a restaurant is busy, but she got defensive about it and actually refused to bring the correct order! My baked stuffed shrimp, a dish I have always looked forward to at Spinneys, was dry and did not taste very fresh. We were all very disappointed, needless to say we will be looking for a new restaurant to try this summer which will hopefully become our new "favorite."
