General Info

I treat all aspects of gastrointestinal and liver disease and strive to provide care with empathy and compassion. I am board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. I obtained my medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ, pursuing a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in the process. I completed both my internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. I subsequently joined the faculty at UVM as an assistant professor in the division of gastroenterology and hepatology where I served as director of the gastrointestinal motility lab. After enduring a dozen Vermont winters, I returned to western NJ/eastern PA where I have been in practice for the past 10 years, and am delighted to be a part of St. Luke’s University Health Network. In addition to colonoscopy and EGD (upper endoscopy), I am trained in ERCP, biliary LASER lithotripsy, video capsule endoscopy, enteral stenting, esophageal manometry, intraluminal impedance and pH testing, endoscopic mucosal resection, radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus, STRETTA and TIF anti-reflux treatments, as well as HET and CRH O’Regan hemorrhoidal therapies. When not at work, I enjoy hiking, fishing and gardening with my wife and two children, as well as playingwith my two rescue dogs and tending to my small flock of Shetland sheep.
