General Info
EducationWorks’ Early Learning Center (ELC) provides a safe, warm, and nurturing atmosphere for preschool-aged children from 6 weeks to 5 years. Open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the ELC provides a wonderful child care and before- and after-school care option for working parents. The goal of the ELC is to foster cognitive and social development while preparing children for the more formal learning environment they will encounter when they transition to elementary school. The daily schedule of activities at the ELC is designed to help children develop the skills they need to think critically, creatively. and independently. In age-based groups children participate in curriculums that provide daily routines while paying particular attention to the interests and skill levels of each child. Our adaptation of the Creative Curriculum provides a powerful learning package that integrates academics, classroom environment, personal development and interpersonal relationships.
