Established in 1990, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North High School provides a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for students. Its academic curriculum features classes in a variety of subjects, such as math, chemistry, English and language arts. The school administers art, music, band, and health and physical education programs. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North High School maintains a library that houses a collection of books and reference materials. It offers opportunities fro students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as football, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, soccer, volleyball, and track and field. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North High School operates a book club. It is governed by the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District, which manages more than 35 elementary, middle, high and alternative education schools.
