My wife and I went into this establishment with high hopes. We were certainly disappointed. We sat down and began looking at the menu. After 15 minutes of being ignored by seeminly deaf, dumb and blind waitstaff, we got up and left. I noticed there were 5 additional waitstaff seated at a table near the back of the bar. They did not seem to care that people were leaving their place of employment dissatisfied. I will spend my money elsewhere. I will also spread the tale to everyone I can.

Bar Louie is a casual restaurant and bar serving American food (the menu's available on the restaurant's website), a bit on the pricy side. Portions are generous, and we were generally pleased with our food, although my broccoli was a bit undercooked and came in a large bunch with no knife to cut it. Our waitstaff was rather inattentive -- be ready to get agressive if you need things like drink refills or condiments. The interior dining room is very noisy due to the open floor plan and tile floors, so this is not the place to go for intimate conversation. There is also patio seating, which might be a quieter option. It has the feel of a place that is trying very hard to be "hip," with multiple specialty mojitos and such, although the clientele ran to families and non-hipsters when I was there.I wouldn't object if friends wanted to eat at Bar Louie in the future, but I probably wouldn't suggest it myself because of the noise, poor service, and priciness.
