General Info

Monroe School is a school district that was established in 1865 as Hedgerow School. It enrolls a total of more than 300 students in various academic programs. The district follows educational assessment guidelines of Illinois Standards Achievement Test. It conducts fundraising activities, snow art shows, outdoor educational programs, Halloween and Thanksgiving celebrations, and spring and winter concerts. Monroe School also organizes various intramural sports tournaments and matches in the areas of basketball, baseball, volleyball, cheerleading, and track and field. It conducts parent-teacher conferences, student graduation parties and school improvement meetings. Additionally, the district offers food services and a variety of lunch options for students.
