The Eye Institute is a part of Medical Center Clinic, which also owns and operates the Cancer Institute and an ambulatory surgery center. Located in Pensacola, Fla., the Eye Institute offers a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with eye-related problems and diseases. It provides treatment for glaucoma, corneal and external, and retinal and vitreous diseases. The institute also offers cataract, orbital and reconstructive surgery services. Additionally, it provides a variety of diagnostic services that includes fundus and slit-lamp photography, corneal topography, specular photomicroscopy, computerized fluorescein angiography. The Eye Institute operates a department of ophthalmology and optic shop that provides a variety of lens and frames. In addition, it offers various laser therapy treatments. Founded in 1938, Medical Center Clinic provides gastroenterology, general surgery, neurology, orthopedics and physical therapy services.
