- Deep Tissue MassageFocus and intent. With relaxation massage the focus is broad to include all the major muscle groups and the intent is to calm and sooth. Therapeutic massage is a medium pressure massage. The focus is specific and the intent is to reduce pain and stiffness. Structural massage is a deep tissue massage with a focus on postural correction. A structural massage involves the discussion of posture, addresses the root cause of pain patterns as well as self care instructions.
- Prenatal MassageVicki uses her skills in massage to assist with the body’s self-healing process. Her personal style is light to medium pressure, and she integrates training in several modalities, including Myofascial Swedish, Therapeutic, and Oncology massage, with a 32-hour intensive course in oncology massage completed. She is also certified in Luminessence Face Lift Massage, a mixture of facial muscle massage and facial lymph drainage. She recently completed a Prenatal Massage course, giving her the Certified Prenatal Massage Therapist title.
- Couples MassageIf you are scheduling a Couples Massage in TWO DIFFERENT ROOMS, just book your massages using the Relaxation, Therapeutic or Structural services with the same date and time with different therapists. If you are booking in the SAME ROOM, use the Couples Massage service category for 60 or 90-minutes. Choose your combination of services then choose your therapists.
- Myofascial TherapyChris graduated with his Massage Therapy Certification from Pensacola State College in Pensacola, Florida and shortly after became a Licensed Massage Therapist. Since then, he has had extensive training in the John Barnes Method of Myofascial Release (MFR). In addition to MFR, he has had training in Structural Integration, a deeper form of Myofascial Release that works to treat the entire body's structural alignment. Chris uses his knowledge as a Massage Therapist and Pilates Instructor to relieve the fascial restrictions in the body that cause poor posture and pain.
