  Frank A. Hernandez is an associate attorney in the Miami office. Frank graduated summa cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year in 2005. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Frank gained extensive trial experience as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County (2005-2012) and as a private criminal defense attorney (2012-2018). While in private practice, Frank was also a Red Light Camera Hearing officer and Florida Supreme Court certified arbitrator conducting PIP arbitrations for Judge Robert Lee in 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. This broad legal experience has Frank handling a variety of complex coverage investigations for the firm’s clients. While not at the office, Frank enjoys spending time at home with his wife and three children.
• Wrongful Death
  Young, Bill, Boles, Palmer, Duke & Thompson, P.A. regularly represents insureds and insurers in the defense of personal injury and wrongful death actions from automobile negligence claims and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims (UM/UIM). The Firm is experienced in successfully evaluating and defending the unique liability issues and damage aspects in these claims.

• Business Disputes
  Sean M. Fard is an Associate Attorney at the Firm’s Miami office and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2019. Mr. Fard practices in the area of insurance bad faith and insurance coverage defense. He has extensive motion practice experience in Florida state and federal courts, and has appellate experience in Florida’s District Court of Appeals and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Fard attended the University of Miami School of Law (Juris Doctor, 2019) and the University of Miami Business School (M.B.A., 2018). During law school, Mr. Fard received the Book Award in Business Associations (Fall, 2016) and was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review (2018-2019) and the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board (2017-2019). He was the recipient of Miami Law’s Dean’s Merit Scholarship and was selected as Scholar for the Florida Bar’s Business Law Section and Association of Corporate Counsel. Mr. Fard attended the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science in Finance; Minor in Marketing, 2014), where he was also a member of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity. Mr. Fard is a member of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

  Carlos G. Gomez is an associate at the Tampa office and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2020. Mr. Gomez handles an active litigation practice in the areas of personal injury and insurance bad faith in both state and federal courts throughout Florida. Mr. Gomez attended Florida State University College of Law (Juris Doctor, 2020) and was on the Moot Court Team (Member, 2018-2020). While in law school, Mr. Gomez achieved 1st place in the 2019 William B. Bryant-Luke C. Moore National Moot Court Competition. Mr. Gomez was also in the Intellectual Property Law Society (President, 2019-2020) and received the Book Award in the Intellectual Property Seminar (Fall, 2019). Mr. Gomez obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg (Bachelor of Science in Biology, 2016).

  Kyle S. Waldron is an associate in the Pensacola office and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2019. Mr. Waldron handles an active litigation practice in the areas of personal injury, insurance coverage, and premises liability. Mr. Waldron attended Vanderbilt Law School (Juris Doctor, 2019). Mr. Waldron obtained his undergraduate education from Gonzaga University (Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, 2016). Mr. Waldron is also a member of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

  Kyle Rash is an associate attorney in the Firm’s Tampa office and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014. Mr. Rash handles an active litigation practice in the areas of personal injury, insurance bad faith, and insurance coverage. Mr. Rash attended the Florida State University College of Law (Juris Doctor 2013). While in Law School, Mr. Rash received Book Awards in Immigration Law (Summer 2012) and Remedies (Summer 2012). Mr. Rash obtained his undergraduate education from the Florida State University (Bachelor of Science, 2009). Mr. Rash is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

  B. Richard Young is the founding shareholder of Young, Bill, Boles, Palmer, Duke & Thompson. Mr. Young was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1984. He has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts and has tried civil jury trials in eleven of the fourteen divisions of the three federal district courts in Florida, as well as Florida state courts in virtually every region and corner of Florida, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Key West, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Panama City, Fort Walton Beach, Sanford, Dade City, Lake City and Pensacola, to name a few. Mr. Young also has extensive appellate experience, including multiple appearances before the Florida Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and all five Florida District Courts of Appeal. Mr. Young currently concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance bad faith and coverage litigation, but he has a wide range of experience in other practice areas, including legal and medical malpractice, negligent security, products liability, nursing home malpractice, admiralty and aviation, to name a few. Mr. Young is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mr. Young has been board certified in civil trial law by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization since 1991 and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1992. Mr. Young is also recognized in Florida Super Lawyers and Florida Top Attorneys.

  B.B Boles III is a partner in Pensacola office and was admitted to Florida Bar in 1983. During his years of practice, Mr. Boles has represented clients in the areas of commercial litigation, construction, domestic practice, personal injury, Social Security Disability, criminal defense and has represented insurance companies and their insureds in automobile negligence, wrongful death, general liability, first and third party property claims and construction defect litigation. He currently handles a diverse litigation practice including construction defect litigation, first and third party property insurance defense, personal injury, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith defense. He is also admitted to United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He graduated the University of West Florida(B.A – History, magna cum laude, 1980) and the Florida State University College of Law(J.D. - December 1982). While in law school he was a member of theFSU Law School Moot Court Team. He served as an Adjunct Professor at Pensacola Junior College(now Pensacola State College) from 1993 to 2006 teaching torts in the paralegal program. He was an Assistant Public Defender for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida from 1986-1999 and served as Chief Assistant Public Defender for Santa Rosa County from 1990-1999.
