- Criminal DefenseFrank A. Hernandez is an associate attorney in the Miami office. Frank graduated summa cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year in 2005. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Frank gained extensive trial experience as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County (2005-2012) and as a private criminal defense attorney (2012-2018). While in private practice, Frank was also a Red Light Camera Hearing officer and Florida Supreme Court certified arbitrator conducting PIP arbitrations for Judge Robert Lee in 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. This broad legal experience has Frank handling a variety of complex coverage investigations for the firm’s clients. While not at the office, Frank enjoys spending time at home with his wife and three children.

Mr. Fard practices in the area of insurance bad faith and insurance coverage defense. He has extensive motion practice experience in Florida state and federal courts, and has appellate experience in Florida’s District Court of Appeals and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Fard attended the University of Miami School of Law (Juris Doctor, 2019) and the University of Miami Business School (M.B.A., 2018). During law school, Mr. Fard received the Book Award in Business Associations (Fall, 2016) and was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review (2018-2019) and the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board (2017-2019). He was the recipient of Miami Law’s Dean’s Merit Scholarship and was selected as Scholar for the Florida Bar’s Business Law Section and Association of Corporate Counsel. Mr. Fard attended the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science in Finance; Minor in Marketing, 2014), where he was also a member of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity. Mr. Fard is a member of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

He served as an Adjunct Professor at Pensacola Junior College(now Pensacola State College) from 1993 to 2006 teaching torts in the paralegal program.
