Advance Auto Wholesale deserves a "0" star rating. Within two weeks of driving the vehicle, the sunroof leaked. I pleaded with the owner and salesman to take a look at it and the lot's mechanic blew air into the sunroof and the hoses became disconnected. It rained hard and the interior was soaked and the floorboards had standing water. As a result, I ended up with a $800 repair bill because the transmission control module was damaged by the water and now, I still have to spray hot water and vinegar treatments because the mold won't go away and the light tan colored interior is heavily stained. Within 90 days of having the vehicle, I took it in to Walmart for an oil change and I was informed of an oil leak and after a second and third opinion, I need to come up with $1200 to replace the head gasket. I'm financing a vehicle for the next three years that spends more time parked because I'm afraid the head gasket will blow at any moment (I can't even get an oil change) and I avoid the rain and if I'm driving in the rain, I have to find the nearest cover (usually a gas station) to prevent further damage. I understand that this used vehicle didn't come with a warranty and sold as-is, but I've been shown by repair shops how the oil leak had been patched and after seven years of doing business, I have severed all ties with my mechanic because he supposedly check the vehicle. This vehicle continues to need more repairs and it's not the repair shops that are misleading me because I'm the one that takes the vehicle in and tells them the symptoms and sounds...it's not like their finding these issues on their own. I've had more than mechanic advise me to turn in the vehicle and next time, go to a reputable dealer with certified cars. I have spent my entire savings and I am not in credit card debt and I can kiss my good credit goodbye. A repo is just not an option. I even asked to buy back my trade-in and they doubled the price that they gave me and then, decided that they weren't going to let me have it.
