Ballet definitely takes a back seat to gymnastics at the Gymnastics Training center. It is very disappointing that there is a problem with teacher retention for ballet ( the teachers all come from outside schools) and so there are inconsistencies in methods and instruction, resulting in students losing progress. Botsford was previously known for ballet, but there is now only 1 high level ballet class offered per week- the other ballet classes have been changed to jazz and lyrical. The ballroom dance program seems to be the main focus of the dance school.
