"Aldo R. Montes, M.D., is a renowned physician with over 30 years of experience in geriatric medicine. At Conviva Memorial West, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Montes is known for his outstanding bedside manner, ability to connect with patients of various ages and circumstances, and educate patients on diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease, as well as diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-management to reach recovery outcome goals. He completed a medical residency at the Good Samaritan Medical Center V.A. in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1988. He earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1985. As an undergraduate, he obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University Of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1981. Dr. Montes joined Conviva Memorial West in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and Conviva Weston Windmill, in Weston, Florida, as a medical doctor and medical director in January 2016.
