"Raul Alejandro Martinez-Perez, M.D., specializes in internal medicine. At Conviva Stirling, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused health care professionals with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Martinez-Perez performed an emergency medicine fellowship at Methodist Hospitals in Memphis, Tennessee, from October 2013 to October 2014. He completed an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, from June 2010 to June 2013. During that time, he participated in multiple conferences, presentations, and case discussions. He also completed standardized procedural training in central venous placement, internal jugular and subclavian, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Center for Patient Safety in Miami, Florida. In November 2009, he attended the International Post-Graduate Observership course in the Department of Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Sancti Spiritus, University of Villa Clara, in Santa Clara, Cuba, from September 1994 to August 2000. Dr. Martinez- Perez holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, ACLS, and Basic Life Support, BLS. He enjoys patient care and interacts well with family members of patients and staff."
