Pecos High School is an educational facility that provides learning opportunities for students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, science, physical education and history. The school offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. Pecos High School also provides guidance counseling and food services. It conducts various sports activities, such as tennis, swimming, cheerleading, baseball, cross-country and golf. The school operates a campus improvement council. In addition, Pecos High School has a library and cafeteria. It operates Athletic Boosters and Band Boosters parent organization. The school organizes various extracurricular activities, such as band, music and choir. Pecos High School maintains latin and Spanish clubs. It also provides membership opportunities in the National Honor Society and the Future Farmers of America. Pecos High School is a part of Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD, which also operates elementary, middle and high schools.
