I must say that this is the worst location I have EVER been to and these were the rudest employees I have EVER come across! There have been several times where I came in there to sell items like brands such as Kate Spade, Tory Burch (young looking clothing items), True Religion, Aldo, and Steve Madden and they didn't buy anything! Then I would go to the location off of Gulf Freeway or Greenway Plaza and EASILY make at least $30. They have no clue what women's items are in style, they have tons of outdated MK bags, dirty shoes, and clothing that is faded and shrunken. Also the buyer is almost never there. This is the ONLY Plato's I have ever been to where I have literally walked around the entire store and not found anything! Also all of the items that they mainly buy are sneakers and work out clothes (I thought this was Plato's Closet not Academy). They are also very rude and give horrible customer service. I remember trying to sell a Henri Bendel purse with the dust bag (which was in great condition) and 2 pairs of MUCH NEEDED size 11 Aldo heels. They rejected the items and I asked them why they didn't take the items because they were in great condition and could easily sell. RYAN, the Asian guy who always looks like he just rolled out of bed, responded by saying," If they are that easy to sell then why haven't you sold them??" Like how rude and unprofessional. It's no wonder why they're trying to sell their franchise..... because they don't know what they're doing. My advice to anyone who values great customer service is if you see a sign that's up that says "Franchise for Sale" do not bother going in there because that is the worst location I have ever been to. In fact the two closest locations are the ones off of Gulf Freeway and Greenway Plaza (which is the largest one that I've ever been to). I will not be back until they are owned by people who know what their doing, and advise everyone to do the same. Obviously they are owned by people who got a business loan and decided to own the first franchise that came to mind without having any knowledge of fashion trends and absolutely no clue of how to give great customer service, and if I could I would give them zero stars.
