The Pearland Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, maintenance and management of public infrastructure systems. It offers a range of services that includes pothole patching, ditch cleaning and sidewalk installation. The department also installs street signs and traffic signals and maintains city-owned vehicles, including trucks, cars, trailers, boats and sport utility vehicles. In addition, the Pearland Public Works Department provides installation, construction and maintenance services for water and sewer lines within the local area. It also offers wastewater treatment and water production services. The department additionally prepares annual water quality reports, as well as maintains the city s fueling center.
