The Physicians at Sports Medicine North are dedicated to the comprehensive treatment of musculoskeletal disorders with the ultimate goal of returning patients to normal function. We will provide the most advanced non- operative techniques as well as surgical options for high level athletes, workers, adults and children. Drs. Jeffrey Polansky and Ira Evans founded Sports Medicine North Orthopedic Surgery in 1985. Since then the practice has grown to 14 physicians, 16 physician assistants and 5 locations. The philosophy of Sports Medicine North has remained the same: A multi-specialty orthopedic group of physicians providing Boston quality care in the North Shore communities. Our staff's goal is to provide you with the best care for all your orthopedic needs. If you have any pertinent records, such as x-rays, prior procedures, or surgeries, etc, call your corresponding physician's office to request a copy of these records. This additional information is very important and will assist our physicians in determining the treatment plan most appropriate for you.
