Clifford Metal is a division of Lapham-Hickey Steel Corporation and is based in Pawcatuck, Conn. Its facility includes a precision high-speed coil slitting and slit coil packaging line that is designed and manufactured by Braner/Loopco. Clifford Metal's Turret Head slitting line processes a full range of steel coils in gauges. It offers a wide range of products, including coated steel, gauges and round-wedge flat wires. Clifford Metal owns a large fleet of trucks and offers contract slitting services. Lapham-Hickey Steel Corporation is a full-line specialty steel service center with processing and distribution facilities in Chicago; Oshkosh, Wis.; Eagan, Minn.; Madison, Ill.; and Columbus, Ohio.
