School 29, governed by Paterson Public Schools, serves students in kindergarten through grade four. The school s curriculum includes math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. School 29 also conducts classes in world languages, art, and instrumental and vocal music. It administers the English as a Second Language program. Additionally, School 29 provides library, special education and guidance counseling services to students. Paterson Public Schools administers several elementary, high and adult education schools. The school district offers educational services to more than 30,000 students through over 50 schools. Paterson Public Schools has a work force of nearly 6,000 educational professionals.
