Behavioral Health Services is one of the departments of St Mary's Hospital, located in Passaic, N.J. The department provides various psychiatric inpatient services, acute involuntary treatment, emergency mental health services, and residential treatment. It also provides a wide range of outpatient services for adults, adolescents and children. The services include psychiatric assessment, medication monitoring, individual and group therapies, depression and anxiety screening, and trauma treatment. The department has a short-term care facility comprising more than 15 beds, and a voluntary unit having over 20 beds. Behavioral Health Services has a staff of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists.
