Hands down the WORST pharmacists I've had to interact with in years. Correction, interact was too strong of a word. When you first come to the counter, if the cashier is busy, they will ignore you. Purposely keep from making eye contact so that they don't have to greet you, one of them actually turned red while staring at the computer, I can only hope it was what little bit of customer service still tried to survive and she knew she was doing the wrong thing. The first day neither of the pharmacists acknowledged me, I just stood there until finally the cashier just happened to peek around the corner and see me.. he looked at me, looked at TWO people ignoring me and not even bothering to have him perform the lowly task of greeting me and said," I'm so sorry." This young man is acceptional. The second day, again the cashier wasn't up front.. I saw them see me and then both go back to what they were doing.. never even said hello, just a moment, nothing. The cashier came around the corner and was helping a customer over the phone.. the pharmacist looked, became distressed, then said, " do you need to pick something up( never got up from her chair). I said yes and things went from there. On top of their gross lack of customer service they are judgemental and rude. No compassion or even an attempt to have a conversation to know what's going on with a customer ( that literally comes in every other day). My wife was diagnosed with congestive heart failure.. due to the stress and doctors swiftly trying to help get her on the right meds we have had to pick up a lot of prescriptions and many have been changed or accidentally called in early.. it's been very confusing and overwhelming. My wife left there in tears because they continued on their rude, judgemental rampage when she was trying to explain the misunderstanding.. staring blankly at the computer telling her they have no record of ANYTHING she's saying. Crazy, because the original prescription and instructions were filled and VERY nicely explained to us at the rite aid on Gage and steptoe. The issue for us wasn't getting the medicine today, our mistake. The issue is who is it that decides who gets treated with customer service and who gets treated with however you've decided to place judgement. Had you taken the time to listen to my wife you would know that in November she was in a coma and lost oxygen to her brain.. that all the meds and filling, lowering, and switching is very confusing for her because her short term memory was a casualty of that coma. I swore over twenty years ago that I would never go to another rite aid because of, again, lack of customer service! This year my insurance changed and I was sick to my stomach, but the rite aid on gage and steptoe was amazing. I live in pasco so I switched everything over to here.. only to each day be more disappointed, embarrassed by just being ignored, and now honestly... offended and disgusted at behavior formed of an opinion that you're better than us. You're not, and you should be wholly embarrassed at the customer service standard your pharmacists display, it's not just us, I've watched them with other customers. It's as if we are irritating little children they don't have time for nor do they want to have time for. Your company pays them a lot of money to treat people poorly.. and it's too bad because the cashiers and ALL the other store staff are great. But I would rather drive out of town to a pharmacy if that's what I have to do than go back in your store. I only hope with this you can protect other people who need help from people paid to help them. I hope this bothers you and something changes, no one ever truly knows what someone else is going through, you might have been their last interaction.. how did you impact their lives. Sincerely,Diana BlaylockLost Customer
