Restorative dentistry includes Fillings, Crowns and Bridges. * Fillings The most common materials for fillings are the beautiful tooth-colored composites which are bonded to the teeth or the traditional silver amalgam fillings. The choice is yours. * Crowns A dental crown, also known as a cap, is a tooth-shaped covering that is placed over a tooth. Crowns are generally used when fracture or decay is so extensive that filling materials cannot make the tooth strong enough. Crowns are made from a mold of the prepared tooth, and then seated after a couple of weeks. * Bridges A bridge consists of 2 crowns and a false tooth in between. Bridges are cemented in and are not removable. They are used to replace one or more missing teeth * Dentures Complete Dentures - These are removable appliances that replace all of the teeth.
