Having grown from a small office in Linden, N.J., with three employees, AmSpec Services features eight offices and laboratories that employ more than 90 professionals throughout the United States. The company s locations are on the East and Gulf coasts. There is also an office in Mexico. AmSpec s Gulf Coast operations are in Texas and Louisiana. AmSpec Services tests and analyzes petroleum products that are transported on the large ocean-going oil tankers that transport petroleum and its products. AmSpec s Galena Park, Texas, operation contains a chemical laboratory for petrochemical and petroleum testing purposes. The Galena Park office enables the company to test the following products: crude oil, diesel, gasoline, gasoline blend stocks and other petrochemicals such as benzene, toluene and xylene.
